BREAKING: Ongoing police situation in Menomonie

UPDATED 7:16 a.m.: According to the Menomonie Police Department, at approximately 8:58 p.m. on Tuesday night, officers and Fire/EMS were dispatched to 2502 Harvey Dr. An altercation led to a man’s throat being stabbed. The suspect was later identified as 37-year-old David W. Hill, who fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

 

The suspect, 195 Ibs. and 5’-08”, was last seen wearing a jean jacket, blue jeans, gold rimmed glasses, and carrying a red Nike duffle bag. The suspect is still at large and believed to be headed towards Minnesota.

 

The victim is stable and being treated at a nearby hospital.
