Stout Snacks is a food delivery service started by Andrew Klavekoske and Cole Harty. Klavekoske said he recently became very interested in the stock market and other financial investments. This eventually led to ways to make more money and thinking of all the times he’s been craving food from places that don’t deliver. “I just tried thinking up problems or situations college students have and ways I could solve them,” said Klavekoske.

According to their interactive map (here), you have to live within the delivery zone (outlined in blue) and there is a $3 delivery charge or 15% for orders $20+ for Zone A (outlined in red) and a $4 fee or 15% for orders $25+ for Zone B (outlined in yellow). Orders are made by Facebook messaging Stout Snacks and include your address and order items. All orders are guaranteed to be delivered within 60 minutes of the order placement, although Klavekoske expects most will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

While there is no official affiliate to UW-Stout, both Klavekoske and Harty are current students. The current hours for Stout Snacks are: M-Th 8 p.m. – 11:45 p.m., Fri-Sat- vary depending on availability, and Sun- 4 p.m. – 11:45 p.m. Stout Snacks officially opens February 21st.
