PONG is an organization on campus that focuses on video games and related technology. They host two LAN events per semester which average about 200 total student attendees at each. Every LAN has a theme and this one was tropical. Because, who doesn’t want to be surrounded by palm trees, flamingos, and surfboards, inflatable of course in February in Wisconsin.

Some of the video games that were played included Super Smash Bros, UNO, Mario Kart, and Jackbox Games.

One thing that brings in a lot of students to LANs are the prizes. Some of the prizes included keyboards, gift cards, and Legos. Maybe next time you’ll win.
