The most commercialized of the three, Goodwill in Menomonie, is a safe bet for a more standard approach to thrifting. Throughout their various locations, the store provides a consistent experience for their buyers as well as a sticker system that has discounts that change on a daily basis. They can provide any college student or member of the public with a diverse shopping experience for a great deal. Their book and gaming selection are broad, with many genres to choose from to take home and enjoy. Clothing is nothing they are lacking in, but their selection can be overwhelming if you don’t know what you are looking for or have the time to sort. The clothes are color-coded but might not have the best sorting in terms of style or seasonality. Regardless, it’s a great place to score some clothes under the retail price or discover an original piece that you can’t find in a commercial store.
